Diamond-lattice wine wall completed by PSL Custom Wine Cellar for a riverfront seafood restaurant near Riverview Park.
The owners were pouring warm whites on hot afternoons because their only wine fridge sat next to the kitchen line. We built a cooled wall behind the bar with diamond-lattice wood racking, sealed the space and added a quiet cooling unit that keeps about 260 bottles at a steady temperature. The manager told us the wine finally matches the view of the Indian River Lagoon.

Glass wine room completed for a home near the Sebastian River and St. Sebastian River Preserve State Park.
The homeowners wanted their collection close to the kitchen but did not want to lose the open feel of the living area. We built a glass wine room in the corner of the dining area with insulated low-E panels, walnut racks for about 340 bottles and a quiet ductless cooling unit. They told us friends now linger in the dining room long after dinner is done.

Garage wine cellar completed for a family home in Sebastian Highlands near Sebastian Municipal Airport.
The owner had about 300 bottles in cardboard boxes stacked against the garage wall, right where the afternoon sun hit. We framed off a corner of the garage, insulated and sealed it, added a solid insulated door and lined it with pine and redwood racks and a through-wall cooling unit. He said his garage finally feels organized and his wine is no longer cooking in the heat.

A residential cellar begins with the space you have and the bottles you want to keep in it. A spare closet, a garage corner or a full room can each work well when the plan follows the collection instead of squeezing it into a standard layout.
Sebastian sits at the north end of the Treasure Coast, where summer highs still run near 89°F and January nights can drop to around 50°F. PSL Custom Wine Cellar plans insulation and cooling for both ends of that range so the cellar holds steady all year.
Leaving room for growth, larger formats and the occasional case means the cellar will not feel full a year after it is finished, and matching the finishes in the kitchen or dining room helps it read as part of the home.

Luxury in a wine cellar is mostly about getting the details right, and it pays to sweat the small stuff. Layout decides how bottles are presented and reached, while materials and finishes set the tone of the room.
Warm wood racking suits a traditional look, while metal rails and floating shelves lean modern. Low-heat LED lighting highlights labels without adding warmth, which matters on long Sebastian summers.
03
A wine room is a little different from a storage cellar. It is a space where bottles are kept, displayed and enjoyed, so the layout leaves room for a tasting table, glassware and comfortable movement.
Restaurants along the river use the same idea to keep their wine at the right temperature and in full view of guests.
04
Good racking starts with the bottles you actually own, so slots are sized for standard 750s, Champagne and magnums. Mixing single slots, display rows and case bins keeps the room organized and easy to browse.
Wood racks bring warmth, while metal pegs and rails suit a cleaner, modern room.
We start by learning about your collection, your budget range and how you picture the finished space. Photos, rough dimensions and a bottle count make that first conversation far more productive.
The PSL Custom Wine Cellar team measures the room and checks the walls, floor, access and nearby heat sources, so issues like an uneven floor or an awkward vent are found early.
We work through layout, racking, lighting, glass and finishes with you, and a clear written scope is in place before any custom parts are ordered.
We keep the carpentry, glass, electrical and cooling work in a sensible order. Any permits or inspections depend on the scope and the local authority.
We walk through the finished cellar with you to check the racks, doors, seals and lighting, and go over the equipment settings for your collection.
