Glass-walled restaurant wine room completed by PSL Custom Wine Cellar for a dining spot steps from the Stuart Riverwalk.
The owners wanted their wine list to be part of the room instead of a printed page, so we turned an old coat check by the entrance into a glass-walled wine room for about 380 bottles. Steel and walnut racks, a ducted cooling unit and soft LED lighting keep it looking sharp from every table. The manager told us diners heading to shows at the Lyric Theatre now stop to browse the bottles before they sit down.

Built-in wine wall with lit display shelves completed for an oceanside condo a short drive from the Elliott Museum and Stuart Beach.
The owner wanted his collection on display in the great room without losing the ocean view, so we built a full-height wall unit along the inside wall with dark wood shelving for about 260 bottles and a few lit ledges for his favorite labels. A ductless split system keeps the room cool through the salt air and afternoon sun. He told us it was the first thing his guests asked about at his housewarming.
Turnaround Time: 5 weeks
Price: $31,500

Closet wine cellar completed for a family home a few blocks from Memorial Park.
The homeowners had been keeping about 120 bottles in a hall closet that got warm every summer afternoon. We sealed the closet with a vapor barrier and foam insulation, hung an insulated glass door and filled it with redwood racking and a small through-wall cooling unit. They were happy enough with the result to start a second rack for their son, who is just getting into wine.
Turnaround Time: 10 days
Price: $7,400

Most Stuart cellars start with a walk-through to find the best spot, often a closet, a den or an unused corner near the kitchen. Ceiling height, floor strength and wall construction all get checked before anything is drawn. Every residential wine cellar installation follows that same careful prep.
Stuart summers average highs around 90°F, and the humid season runs from April into November, which is why PSL Custom Wine Cellar seals and insulates every room before a single rack goes in. A cellar here has to hold 55°F while the air outside stays muggy for most of the year.
From there, the layout follows how you use your wine. Homes that entertain often get more display shelving, while serious collectors usually want dense case storage tucked away from foot traffic.

A luxury cellar should feel like part of the house, so finishes are picked to match the trim, flooring and style already there. Waterfront homes along the St. Lucie River often lean light and coastal, while older estates suit dark wood and stone.
Tasting counters, stemware storage and warm LED lighting under each rack turn the room into a place you actually want to spend time in. Each layout starts with custom wine cellar design in 3D before anything is built.

A dedicated wine room gives a larger collection space to breathe, with room for a tasting table, glassware cabinets and display niches for special bottles. Airflow is planned so the temperature stays even from wall to wall.
Restaurants and private clubs along U.S. 1 use the same approach to show off their lists while keeping inventory organized and easy to restock.

Racks are built around the bottles you actually own, with slots sized for Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne and magnums so labels never scrape on the way out. All custom wine racks are built in-house to fit the room.
Mahogany and walnut give a warm, classic look, while metal pegs and floating shelves suit a cleaner, modern room. Case bins along the bottom keep bulk storage neat and out of the way.
We start by talking through your collection, bottle count and the look you want, then the PSL Custom Wine Cellar team checks the room for ceiling height, exterior walls and available power. Homes across Martin County vary a lot, so this visit keeps the plan practical.
Next, we draw up the rack layout, glass, finishes and equipment locations so you can see how everything fits. You choose the wood, metal finishes and lighting before any work starts.
Our crew seals the room with a vapor barrier and closed-cell insulation, then hangs an exterior-grade, weatherstripped door. That sealed shell is what protects your wine from Stuart's year-round humidity.
We run the refrigerant lines, dedicated circuits, condensate drain and lighting wiring before the walls close. Condensing units usually go outside or in a utility room to keep the cellar quiet.
We run the cooling system for a few days and confirm the temperature and humidity hold steady before the first bottle goes in. Our team then walks you through the thermostat and basic upkeep.
